FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HTF Publishing Signs Award-Winning Author Carol M. Cram for New Historical Novel The Choir
August 6, 2025
Minneapolis, MN — HTF Publishing is thrilled to announce the signing of award-winning author Carol M. Cram for the forthcoming publication of her latest novel, The Choir, scheduled for release on February 24, 2026.
Set in a Yorkshire mill town in the 1890s, The Choir is a powerful and moving story of resilience, friendship, and the transformative power of music. The novel follows Eliza Kingwell, a working-class mother who forms a women's choir in a desperate bid to escape her abusive marriage, and Ruth Henton, a fallen star of the London stage who must rebuild her life in the very town she thought she’d left behind.
Known for her evocative prose and richly imagined historical settings, Carol M. Cram is the acclaimed author of the Women in the Arts Trilogy (The Towers of Tuscany, A Woman of Note, and The Muse of Fire), as well as the contemporary novel Love Among the Recipes, which earned a starred review from Publishers Weekly.
"We are honored to welcome Carol to HTF Publishing," said Colin Mustful, publisher and founder of HTF. "Her work resonates deeply with our mission to share compelling, character-driven historical narratives. The Choir is an unforgettable story of women's strength and solidarity."
