A NOBLE CUNNING: THE COUNTESS AND THE TOWER IS NOW AVAILABLE IN AUDIOBOOK FORM
A Noble Cunning by Patricia Bernstein
A Noble Cunning: The Countess and the Tower, the award-winning novel by Patricia Bernstein, based on the true story of a Catholic noblewoman who rescued her husband from the Tower of London, is now available in audiobook form, in addition to paperback, hardcover, and ebook.
The new audiobook is narrated by Talon David, actress, voice-over specialist, and songstress, who grew up in Nashville but now lives and works in London. Talon has narrated over 120 audiobooks. She has perfected the accent of a British noblewoman, the voice of the heroine in A Noble Cunning, which is told entirely in the first person. Talon impersonates equally convincingly a Scottish “hedge-preacher,” a Scottish innkeeper, a cockney yeoman of the guard at the Tower, and a wide range of other characters who appear in A Noble Cunning.
A Noble Cunning follows closely the adventures of the real-life persecuted Catholic countess who spirited her husband out of the Tower of London the night before his scheduled execution, with the help of her women friends. The novel has won three gold medals, including an award from the American Bookfest, an IPPY medal from the Independent Publisher Book Awards, and Catholic Novel of the year from the Catholic Media Association. The new audiobook will be available on Audible, Amazon and Apple Books, which can be reached directly or through links at https://www.patriciabernstein.com.
